Animal Technologies, Inc. is experienced in the collection of custom blood products for biological research. We custom collect the following products to your exact specifications. Various anti-coagulants are available to fit the customers' needs. Our personnel take great care in the collection of these products to help ensure the researcher meets his objective. We can ship these products overnight, fresh or frozen.

Blood Products

Collection is by bag or bottle utilizing one of the following anti-coagulants: Sodium Citrate, E.D.T.A., Heparin or Alsevers solution. Blood products are shipped as whole blood, or processed to extract Red Blood Cells.

Plasma Products

Plasma is taken using your choice of anti-coagulant. These products are produced to your specifications.

Sera Products

Our serum products are collected off the clot. Our strict procurement and operating procedures ensure high quality serum. Raw serum is collected in an abattoir utilizing either bag or bottle collection. Samples are available on request and lots are held on reserve during the evaluation period. Donor Animal Sera

Animal Technologies, Inc. offers a quality line of Donor animal sera. The steps used in the collection and processing of these products are designed to ensure complete control of serum production from Donor animal to finished product. Antibiotic-free animals are fed only controlled rations and managed under veterinary supervision with daily observations for each herd animal by trained handlers. Blood drawn from each Donor animal is collected by aseptic procedures throughout, including serum separations and filling into final containers. Each batch, representing the serum processed from a day's blood collection, is identified by a distinctive lot number. Detailed records are kept throughout the entire process, providing complete verification and traceability back to the individual animals and dates bled. Representative samples of each lot, collected during bottling from a common pool, are tested by highly trained quality control personnel to verify that each lot meets the established standards of purity and uniformity. Samples, including a certificate of analysis, are available to potential buyers for evaluation of the lot. Partial or complete lots are held in reserve during this evaluation period.
